Name: Ross Bernards

Location: Vail, Colorado

Short Bio: I was born and raised in the heart of wine country in Oregon. As a kid, I wasn't really into the outdoors. "Getting back to nature" to me was going golfing. It wasn't until I moved to Colorado in 2010 that I fell in love with everything outdoors. The more time I started spending on the trails, summit peaks, and in canyons the more I wanted to capture my adventures and share them with the world. Once I had the camera in my hand I knew my life would never be the same. That's why 2 years ago I quit my steady job and dove headfirst into the world of freelance adventure and outdoor lifestyle photography.

Favorite hike: Was a trip into the Gore Range outside of Vail Colorado. We hiked along a ridge before going off trail for a few miles to an unnamed lake in the middle of the mountains. St

Favorite place to go camping: Anywhere out in the Utah desert.

Favorite camp meal: Dutch oven chili with cornbread

Favorite outdoor activities: Canyoneering

Hobbies: Hiking, rafting, really anything outdoors, being an Emcee

Favorite book: The Alchemist

Dream trip location: A canyoneering adventure in Jordan and other areas of the Middle East.
