Where: Green River – Dutch John, Utah
Length + Difficulty (Hike or backpacking trip): single or multiday river trip
Best time: Spring / Summer
Brief Summary: Floating the Green River offers a wide range of experiences for boaters of all skill levels. In addition to the beautiful scenery, rich history, and exciting white water, the Green River has some of the best trout fishing in North America. Sections A, B & C are my favorite parts of the river to float. This can be done in one long day, or if you want to take your time, you can reserve pristine riverside campsites that are only accessible by boat. My favorite time of year to float the Green is mid-summer when the temperatures are high and the water levels are low.
