Hike:Kanarra Falls
Where:Kanarraville, UT
Length + Difficulty : 4 miles roundtrip, moderate difficulty
Best time: Late Spring to early Fall
Summary: This hike requires a permit in advance and features beautiful red rock, a slot canyon, 15-foot lean-to log ladders, a creek, and waterfalls. Much of the trail requires trekking through cold water that typically stays around your ankles and possibly up to your knees (depending on the time of year you go). The ladders and boulders can be a bit tricky to scale, but the unique sights make it so worth it!
What to bring:Bring hiking shoes with good tread/traction that you wouldn’t mind getting wet, neoprene or wool socks, a camera, and snacks of course!
